How do I snooze my account?

You may be wondering what to do with your phone line if you're not going to be actively using it for a certain time, such as when leaving the country for a few months. Do you keep paying for plans that you don't need? Or do you let your line expire and hope the number doesn't get disconnected? 

We have the perfect solution for this kind of problem. It's called the 'Snooze Plan', and it lets you keep your number in service for as long as you need at a minimal cost of just $2.98 per 30 days. All you need to do is set up AutoPay without any plans, as shown below:

  1. Sign in to your account to see your dashboard

  1. Click on the line you would like to update 

  1. Click on the Change Plan option under the line settings.
  2. Once you click on the Change Plan option, you will get another screen giving you options to Change Plans and to turn off Autopay. You need to scroll down to the bottom and select "Snooze My Plan"

  1. After you click on Snooze My Plan, you'll now see the payment method selection and a checkbox for the "Terms and Privacy Policy". You'll have to agree to the terms and select "Snooze my line"

  1. You will then see the snooze option turned on for your line on the top left.

You have now activated the Snooze Plan. Your monthly cost will only be $2.98 including a monthly service fee + a small amount of tax, and you'll have peace of mind knowing that your phone line is in good hands.

How can I Unsnooze my plan?

To Unsnooze your line:

  1. Sign In to your account to see the dashboard

  1. Click on the line you'd like to Unsnooze.

  1. Click on Wake up the line to turn off AutoPay. You can also click on Manage AutoPay to turn off your AutoPay.

  1. Once AutoPay is turned off, click on Change Plan, under Line Settings.

  1. Select from our Unlimited or Shareable Data plans. You can also choose from our low data plans by clicking on "Looking for low data plans?" at the bottom of the page.

  1. Once the plan is selected and you are ready to check out, make sure the AutoPay toggle is turned OFF (as shown below). Click on Pay My Bill.

  1. After paying the bill, reach out to us via chat, email (help@usmobile.com) or phone (+1 (878) 205-0088) and we'll kick in your plan for you.

To take your account off Snooze, click on all my lines then the line number and then click on Change my Plan > Cancel AutoPay > YES, TURN AUTOPAY OFF > Pay my bill, after which you can configure the plans you want and then pay the bill for it manually by keeping AutoPay OFF. Then you would have to reach out to our customer support to get your plan kicked in if you want to get service immediately.
