Device Compatibility

Note: US Mobile provides two SIM cards, GSM LTE (White SIM Card) and Warp 5G (Black SIM Card). We recommend to choose network according to the coverage in your area. You can check which network works best for you by putting in the zip code here

After you check which network works the best for you, please double check if your Motorola phone is compatible.

Warp 5G

If your Motorola phone has VoLTE and no network restrictions on it, it should be compatible.

GSM LTE

With GSM LTE, most Motorola Moto XT phones are compatible.

Here are some useful instructions for your device - Motorola Moto XT Series:

How to turn Data Roaming off

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings > More > Mobile Network.
  3. Tap Roaming to turn it off Off (if its On).
If Data roaming is switched off, the switch will be greyed out.
If your mobile data is turned off, the switch will be greyed out as well, and you won't be able to move the switch.

How to Change the Network Mode

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings > Network & internet > Mobile Network.
  3. Tap Preferred network type.
  4. Tap the appropriate setting.

How to enable VoLTE

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate: Settings > More > Mobile Network.
  3. Tap on the 'Enhanced 4G LTE Mode' toggle to turn it On.

How to Check if you have Wi-Fi turned off and cellular data turned on

  1. Turn off Wi-Fi: Pull down the notification tray by sliding your finger down from the top of the screen, then tap the Wi-Fi toggle. Alternatively, you can tap Menu > Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off from there.
  2. Turn on Mobile Data: Pull down the notification tray by sliding your finger down from the top of the screen, then tap the Mobile Data toggle. Alternatively you can tap Menu > Settings > Data Usage, tap the Mobile data switch here to turn it On.

How to Update the APN

  1. From the Home screen, swipe up twice to view your apps.
  2. Tap Settings > More > Mobile networks.
  3. Select Access Point Names.
  4. Tap the menu button (usually 3 stacked dots).

How to Manually search for network

  1. From the home screen, tap Apps.
  2. Navigate to Settings > More > Mobile Networks.
  3. Select Network operators.
  4. Scroll to and tap on Search networks.
  5. Wait while the phone searches for networks.
  6. The available networks will be listed.
  7. Choose US Mobile from the options to connect.

How to Turn OFF Wi-Fi calling

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Search for Wi-Fi calling.
  3. Turn the feature off from there.

How to Turn OFF Call forwarding

Option 1:

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Phone icon.
  2. Tap Options symbol (three dots).
  3. Tap Settings > Calls > Call forwarding.
  4. Select Always forward.
  5. Tap Turn off for it.

Option 2:

  1. Dial ##004# to turn off conditional call forwarding.
  2. Dial *73 to cancel call forwarding.

How to Turn ON Call Waiting

  1. Press the Phone icon.
  2. Press the Options symbol.
  3. Press Settings.
  4. Press Calls.
  5. Press Additional Settings.
  6. Press the indicator next to "Call waiting" to turn the function On.

How to check the number entered for SMS center

Go to Messages > Menu button > Settings > SMS Service Center.

How to Make sure MMS / Group Messaging both are turned ON

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Tap Messages.
  3. Tap the Menu icon (upper-right).
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Tap Default group message type to enable Group messaging.
  6. Tap Auto-download MMS to turn it On (if its Off)/ Tap Default MMS message type to enable MMS messaging.

How to Setup Hotspot

  1. Navigate: Apps > Settings > More > Tethering & portable hotspot.
  2. Check Portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
  3. Your phone will turn off Wi-Fi and will uses the mobile data for internet access now.
  4. Tap Set up Wi-Fi hotspot to set up security:
    1. Network name: Enter a unique name for your hotspot.
    2. Security: Select the type of security you want: None or WPA2. For WPA2, enter a unique password that others will need to access your Wi-Fi hotspot.
    3. Password: Create a password with at least eight characters.
  5. Tap SAVE.

How to Setup Visual Voicemail

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Phone icon > Menu > Settings.
  2. Select Calls.
  3. Select Voicemail.
  4. Select Setup.
