Super LTE

This whole article only applies to Super LTE and not to GSM LTE

How to set-up Voicemail:

Go to SIM Card page and the click on Features and follow the steps given in the table below:

Basic Voicemail

If turning on:

  • Turn on UBVM (enable it in SIM features on AP)
  • Turn off HD_VVM, if it is subscribed (disable it in SIM features on AP)
  • Turn off VVM_IPHONE, if it is subscribed (disable it in SIM features on AP)

If turning off:

  • Turn off UBVM (disable it in features in AP)

Ask customer to restart device and test.

Voicemail Password Reset or Full Box Reset

Always Verify the customer before resetting the password and always ask the customer if he would be okay with all the VM messages deleted if we reset the PW & Box
ALWAYS add comments to SIM page:
Request: Voicemail Password Reset / Voicemail Full Box Reset

There is a functionality on the admin portal to reset voicemail password along with the functionality of full voicemail box reset, for Super LTE lines. Take a look on the left under “Verizon actions” in the admin portal.

You will see options on the right side:

  1. Reset PW - To just reset the password.
  2. Reset PW & Box - To reset the password and empty their voice mailbox.
After the reset, the password is changed to 1234 as a default, and the customer should be recommended to set it to something more secure.
You should always be able to reset a VM. If it is not working then either 1 of 2 things is true:
1) customer doesn't have a voicemail feature currently applied
2) customer's OTA never completed and LTE status is still RS

How to set-up Visual Voicemail (Super LTE):

ALWAYS add comments to SIM page:
Request: Visual Voicemail Enabled
Make sure to use the phone's default Visual Voicemail feature. A 3rd party app (like T-Mobile VVM) app is not guaranteed to work with our service.

If turning on:

  • Turn off VVM_IPHONE (disable it in features in AP)
  • Turn on VOT_HD_VOICE (enable it in SIM features on AP)
  • Turn on HD_VVM (enable it in SIM features on AP)
  • Turn off UBVM (disable it in features in AP)

If turning off

  • Turn off HD_VVM (disable it in features in AP)

Visual voicemail for iPhone

If turning on

  • Turn on VVM_IPHONE (enable it in SIM features on AP)
  • Turn on VOT_HD_VOICE (enable it in SIM features on AP)
  • Turn off HD_VVM (disable it in features in AP)
  • Turn off UBVM (disable it in features in AP)

If turning off

  • Turn off VVM_IPHONE (disable it in features in AP)
Ask customer to restart device and test.
