Balance_Top-up and Base Plan: Requests

We can create PLAN or TOPUP orders from the Admin portal. These orders can be charged against the user’s credit card on file at full price, 50% off, or free (complimentary).

ALWAYS add comment(s) to the SIM page/Subscriber Profile for the actions taken, such as adding or canceling plans.
If we are adding TOPUPs, do not charge service fee and taxes. Service fee and taxes are to be charged only for billing cycle renewals.
Please do not buy Hotspot on GSM - we do not have access to make this change take affect on the line in the middle of the billing cycle.

How to add a Top-Up

  1. Click on the 'Purchase' button at bottom of “Current Service” section.
  2. A pop-up window will appear.
  3. Autofill box or dropdown list can be scrolled to add the desired addon.
    Note that the data buckets for Super LTE are not including the Speed designation (so won’t change the speed of the SIM)
    But some of the GSM plans do specify the speed.
    There are also hotspot and speed items that can be used for charging a user who might have forgotten to add the hotspot during the plan purchase but wants to pay the $5 (in case of unlimited bundles) and $10 (in case of Unlimited All plan) afterward to have it added.
    Note: Hotspot has to be added from features on Super LTE lines after you charge them. It won't be added automatically.
  4. Once the item(s) have been chosen, identify whether this should be charged at full price, half price or free (complimentary).
    You can also specify if the order should be treated as a PLAN or a TOP UP. If you include the service fee and regulatory fee, it would become a PLAN and it will extend SIM expiration date by 30 days. If this box is not checked, then it would be a TOP UP.
  5. Credit cards must already be on file. So you can choose from the dropdown list, but not add new cards to the list.
  6. After, submission, the SIM page will let you know if the order was successful.
    You will see the expiration date push out to 30 days from today if it is a PLAN.
    You will see the order in the order history.
    The order will appear in the admin like any other order, except in the lower left, there will be a note labeled: MANUAL.
    The customer will also see the order in the billing and settings section.
    It will look like any regular order.

How to add a free Top-Up

  1. Purchase button at bottom of “Current Service” section.
  2. Popup window appears. Autofill box or dropdown list can be scrolled to add the desired addon.
  3. Once the item(s) have been chosen, identify that this should be charged free (complimentary).
Notice the expiration date did not change and the 40 text were added as TOP UPs.
The order history will appear as a TOP UP.
It will look like any regular top up in the admin, except for in the lower left the Note will say MANUAL and the Free orders will have promocode MANUALFREE .

Customers will also see the free orders in the billing and setting section.

How to change a Base Plan

  1. Go to SIM page on AP.
  2. Go to AutoPay -> edit AutoPay.
  3. Choose bundle or custom plan attributes.
Customers can change the base plan for the next month only.

How to add a Base Plan for expired line

  1. Add a Top-Up (see instructions above).
    Select "Service and Reg Fees" to convert top-up to a plan
    If customers wants to enable AutoPay:
  2. Go to SIM page on AP.
  3. Go to AutoPay -> edit AutoPay.
  4. Choose bundle or custom plan attributes.
