1. Typical SMS issues

SMS issues are very rare on Super LTE, but the occasional ones are listed below:

  1. Error 97 - SMS origination denied
    Occasionally reported on outgoing texts. This error is generally only seen when the text plan is not provisioned or fully consumed.
    Solution: TEXT MESSAGING BLOCKED feature is disabled.
  2. Insufficient funds for message delivery
    Reasons: the customer is attempting to send an international text 
    Solution: let customer know that we don't offer international text, customers can receive international text, but not send them, if they have an active talk plan.
  3. Outbound text issue 
    Outbound text issue takes place, when a user is unable to send text messages even though they have unlimited texts. 
    Solution: In this case, you need to turn on the CDMALESS feature. Here are some more details:

    (1) Go to the SIM Page.

    (2) Under Verizon Actions (on the left), click on Features (Subscribed features in red, Unsubscribed features in blue).

    (3) Select WHL_CDMALESS and R20_ROAM_TIER to be turned on in unsubscribed features. This will appear in blue.

    (4) Select R00_DATATIER to be turned off in subscribed features. This will appear in red.

    (5) Click on change at the bottom.



2. Texting issues on iPhone

Ask the customer to check the following in case texting issue persists on Super LTE on iPhone:

  1. Please refer to this article.
  2. Confirm if a customer is using third party texting applications (Verizon Messaging etc.) instead of default apps
  3. Ensure phone number is not blocked

3. Texting issues on Android

Ask the customer to check the following in case texting issue persists on Super LTE on Android:

  1. Ask if all other services are working fine
  2. Confirm if a customer is using third party texting applications (Verizon Messaging etc.) instead of default apps
  3. Please refer to this article.
  4. Ensure phone number is not blocked
  5. If call forwarding related issue have them dial ##004#
  6. CDMALESS activation may be required in features (steps mentioned above under outbound text issue)
For these devices make sure CDMALESS is enabled in admin: One Plus 5T, 6T, 7, 8, Light Phone II, Razor phone 2, KYO DURA XV
